Visiting Research Fellows

Apply to become a visiting research fellow at CPCS

CPCS will consider applications from both academics and practitioners to join the Centre as a visiting research fellow (VRF), either for one semester or for the duration of an entire academic year.

Applicants from an academic background are expected to hold a PhD in a relevant area.

CPCS offers visiting research fellows access to our network of scholars and practitioners and exposure to a vibrant research environment within the Centre and broader School of International Relations.

Selected fellows will receive access to a workspace and to the University library and its resources. They will also be encouraged to attend the Centre’s seminar series and meetings and are welcome to attend the broad range of conferences, seminars and special lectures hosted by the School of International Relations and other Schools at the University in the fields that most interest them.

Applications are made on a rolling basis. If you would like to apply, please send a CV, a research proposal of maximum four pages and an outline of how you would profit from and contribute to the research environment at CPCS and the broader School of IR to the Centre Director, Jaremey McMullin ([email protected]).

We cannot offer any funding to visiting research fellows, but we will support applications for external funding for candidates who have been admitted to the Centre as fellows.
