CPCS is very excited to host a practitioner-in-residence to contribute to the research environment of the Centre and to the teaching and learning environment on the School of IR’s proposed MLitt and MPhil programmes in Peacebuilding and Mediation. Details are in development. We invite interested candidates to check back on these pages for more information as it becomes available. Interested candidates are also welcome to email the Centre Director, Jaremey McMullin (J.McMullin@st-andrews.ac.uk) with questions or statements of interest.
We envisage being able to support one-year or two-year appointments, as well as shorter residence periods depending on candidates’ availability, proposed research programme, and proposed teaching contributions. We are looking for prominent experts, activists, policymakers, and practitioners in the fields of peacebuilding, post-war transition and reconstruction, conflict resolution and transformation, and conflict mediation at community, national, or international levels. We particularly welcome applications from practitioners from countries located in the global south.
